Agribusiness lecturer at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Nunuk Adiarni, conducted an international academic visit to BBW University on Monday, 11 May 2026. The visit was carried out together with Binawan Foundation and Binawan University to explore opportunities for academic collaboration and international program development.
The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Juan Ocampo, Program Director of Sustainability and Smart Building Technology (SSBT). The agenda included an introduction to the SSBT educational program, a presentation by Prof. Nunuk Adiarni, discussion sessions, and an exchange on potential institutional cooperation.
During the presentation, Prof. Nunuk introduced the implementation of Outcome Based Education (OBE) within the Agribusiness Study Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Jakarta. The educational approach emphasizes the balance between theoretical learning and field practice to equip students with competencies relevant to global industry needs.
In addition, the Agribusiness Study Program highlighted its interdisciplinary approach that connects agribusiness with information technology and sustainability issues. This approach aligns with SSBT’s focus on sustainability and smart building technology development at BBW University.
The discussion also explored opportunities for international online seminars, collaborative research, joint publications, and the development of short international programs for students. These programs are expected to support students in improving their language skills while also gaining international internship experience.
Prof. Juan Ocampo welcomed the opportunity for academic collaboration between the institutions. The discussion also covered possible future cooperation involving students, lecturers, and international partners.
