UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta managed to improve the UI Green Metric (UIGM) ranking in 2024 by occupying the top four positions in the State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) cluster. The increase in rank is expected to continue to spur UIN Jakarta in creating a sustainable environment on campus.

UIGreen Metric ranking data quoted by UIN News Online, Wednesday (18/12/2024), states that UIN Jakarta 2024 received a score of 7450 with an overall performance of 74.50%. This score is obtained from Setting & Infrastructure (score 850), Water (score 750), Energy & Climate Change (score 1475), Transportation (score 1425), Waste (score 1500), and Education & Research (score 1450).

With a score of 7450, UIN Jakarta managed to occupy the top four PTKIN positions after UIN Raden Intan Lampung (8650), UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi (7925), and UIN Raden Fatah Palembang (7750). Based on this position, UIN Jakarta ranks 36th nationally and 316th globally.
