SOUTH TANGERANG – In a proactive move to prepare its students for the dynamic and competitive career landscape, the Agribisnis Study Program at the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, held its much-anticipated Studium Generale on Friday, October 10, 2025. Hosted in the 2nd Floor Theater Room of the FST building, the event directly addressed the pivotal question on every student’s mind with its theme: \"Graduating from Agribusiness, Where to Next?\"
The general lecture was specifically designed to broaden students\' horizons regarding career prospects and the essential competencies required to succeed in the modern agribusiness sector. By bringing in seasoned professionals, the program aimed to provide a clear and practical roadmap for students as they transition from academic life to their professional journeys.
The event featured two distinguished speakers who are leaders in their respective fields. The first speaker, Rohindra Meison, S.P., M.Si., Head of the Sucofindo–Surveyor Indonesia Operational Cooperation, delivered a comprehensive presentation on career readiness. He emphasized the fundamental importance of the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling) management principles as a cornerstone for professional success. Meison highlighted the vast and often overlooked career opportunities within the agribusiness sector, spanning from upstream production to downstream industries, logistics, and consultancy.
The second session was led by Yuli Melati Suryaningrum, S.P., the President Director of BCA Syariah Bank. Her presentation, titled \"Well-Being for a Better Future,\" took a holistic approach to success. Suryaningrum stressed that a fulfilling career is built on a foundation of personal well-being, emphasizing the critical balance between social, mental, and financial health. She shared valuable insights on how students can cultivate resilience, manage stress, and build a sustainable and happy life alongside their professional ambitions.

Through this enriching event, the Agribusiness Study Program has reaffirmed its commitment to producing graduates who are not only academically proficient but also mentally and strategically prepared for the challenges of the working world. The students left the seminar with expanded knowledge, practical tools, and a renewed sense of purpose, ready to enter the professional arena with competence, broad insight, and strong character.
